Bed and Breakfast and Self Catering Accommodation at Kilbrogan House
Kilbrogan House Bed and Breakfast accommodation
is a listed historic house built in 1818 located in Bandon, West Cork.
Just 16 miles from Cork airport, this is
an ideal base for touring the south west of Ireland. We fell
in love with this wonderful georgian house in the early 1990s and
have spent many years restoring it. Most of the original features
have been retained yet we have
incorporated many modern luxuries. We look forward to our guests
sharing our enthusiasm about this house! In our B&B you will feel
like you are deep in the countryside yet you are just minutes walk
away from the thriving town centre with many excellent shops,
restaurants, cafes and pubs..
We are a brother and sister team. David is a
qualified chef and will prepare your breakfast for you. I will
help you with everything else so please don't hesitate to ask for
advice, suggestions and recommendations!
You will find that no two
bedrooms are alike in the accommodation. We invite you to try out our
comfortable beds complete with luxurious, pocket sprung
mattresses and starched egyptian cotton bed linen.
Relax as you bathe or feel refreshed and envigorated after a power shower. You might even wish to while
away a few peaceful hours in our sun-filled conservatory that overlooks
our walled garden. We have wireless internet access in our B&B for
those who come with their own computers. A desktop pc is also
available for guests who do not have their own pc.

Our Garden
The walled garden is shared with Kilbrogan House bed and

Eating out and where to
shop
Bandon is well served with local restaurants. Our favorites
are The Poachers Inn on the Clonakilty Road, Bandon and
Italistro on Oliver Plunkett Street, an authentic Italian
Bistro. Other restaurants include Anarkali (Indian),
Marmatiece (a popular bistro on the Bandon River), Cappucino
and Sorrento as well as a choice of four Chinese
restaurants. Notable cafes include Urru (also a great
deli)Seats (a creperie/cafe) and The Early Bird (a very
modern cafe with seating outside). Just a short 10 minute
drive from Bandon is Casino House, a real gem for a special
night out! |
