The bedrooms at Kilbrogan House
have all been recently renovated.
They are well proportioned with
wooden floors, antique furnishings and comfortable beds with
starched egyptian cotton bed linen,
duvets and luxury pocket sprung mattresses.
The rugs
have all been hand-made by the owners father and all the
curtains in the house have been made by the owner.
Four of the double beds are 5' in width by the standard
6'6" in length. Inchigeelagh has a bed that is 6' in width by
6'6" in length as well as the original, very deep cast iron
bath that has been restored. The twins in our twin room at
the front of the house are 6'6" in length (normally twins
are 6' in length!!)
Light streams into all the rooms through the large
georgian sash windows. Shutters and curtains are used
at night to keep the rooms cosy as well as dark.
All bathrooms are equipped with powerful showers as
well as baths. |
